Learn what to do and (just as important) what NOT to do in the search for your lost pet. Don’t waste time following questionable information on the internet and the advice of well-meaning (but potentially ill-informed) friends and family.  Most downloads come with a 30-day money back guarantee.

Find Volunteer On-Site Assistance or a Lost Pet Consultation

If you want to look for on-site assistance in your area, check out the Guide to Finding a Pet Detective or Search Dog. This guide includes a Lost Pet Services Directory with listings for pet detectives, search dog teams, lost pet trackers, Missing Animal Response Technicians, lost pet consultants and lost pet trappers.  Many of these individuals charge, but if you are lucky, you may be able to find a volunteer in your area.

If you can't find on-site assistance, I definitely recommend finding someone that can provide a lost pet consultation.  Some digging through the directory may be required to find someone that offers low cost or free lost pet consultations.

This guide includes a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee if you are unable to find someone to assist you in the search for your missing pet.

More FREE and Low Cost Resources

Here are links to a few other groups where you may be able to find free or low cost help.

Submit a Lost Pet Report on PetFBI.org.  If they have a volunteer in your area, they may reach out.

Lost Dogs of America has lots of great articles on finding lost dogs.  They also have a list of state specific groups that you could try contacting.

The Missing Animal Response Network has a small Pet Detective Directory that you can check for volunteer groups.  They may also offer low cost or free consultations.
