Do You Need Help Finding a Pet Detective or Search Dog?

This guide should really be called how to find a pet detective, search dog, lost pet tracker, Missing Animal Response Technician, lost pet consultant, lost pet specialist, or lost pet trapper since all these services may be used to find a missing pet.  However, that title would just be way too long.  For that reason, not all individuals listed would necessarily define themselves as "pet detectives."  Colloquially, anyone that helps find missing pets might be called a pet detective.  However, formally a pet detective is generally a licensed private investigator that specializes in lost and stolen pets.
