Cat Behavior Books
These are some of my favorite books on cat behavior. The first few are more technical, especially The Domestic Cat: the Biology of its Behavior, and can be a little expensive. Also check out your local library or university libraries to find these.

The following books are easier reads, but still informative. Cat versus Cat is especially helpful for understanding cat interactions. It also provides practical information for reintroducing a lost cat to its housemates, which can prove to be challenging.

Books on Lost Cats and Human Behavior
These books are not so much about lost cat behavior as they are about human behavior when a cat goes missing. Since this is an integral part of lost cat recovery, I recommend reading both books, but the first is my favorite.
